There are so many hosts out there but NOT all of them are good enough for Drupal. Some hosts don’t support mysqli so if you are using drupal with mysqli database you need to be careful to choose a host that supports mysqli. I have read in a few places about some hosts especially godaddy. I do not use godadday but some people using godaddy complain about the slow speed of their sites.
If you are yet to host a drupal site then this information would be very helpful. Check online for Drupal sites that “work” and find out the hosts they run on. If you are curious then email the webmaster. I am sure he /she would be glad to let you know. A bad host can give you nightmares. Choose wisely.
